CrossFit Weightlifting Trainer Course
Drew Reeves grew up playing organized sports including soccer, baseball, swimming, and football. After finishing his senior year in high school as the placekicker he ended up playing one year of Division III football at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee before transferring to Southern Mississippi where he continued to feed his love of sports by playing intramural sports while trying to stay in shape at the rec center. After he and his wife moved to Katy, TX to begin their lives as professionals and eventually parents, he attempted to stay in shape by periodically running and working out at a local gym. In March of 2009 Drew decided he needed a change of pace in his workout routine from the daily 3-mile jog so he took up an invitation to try a workout in the park with Neal. Needless to say, he was hooked from the first day and has since continued to enjoy working out 4 to 5 times a week at CrossFit Katy. His outlook on exercise and health has changed dramatically and he continues to enjoy learning more and sharing CrossFit with others. He received his Level 1 Certification in 2010 and his Weightlifting Trainer’s Certification in 2014 and continues to learn as much as he can to better himself as well as others. Drew is a devoted husband to Lezlie and father to his three children, Andrew, Lila, and Camille.
