I have gone down 5 sizes in clothes. I can tie my shoes by bending down. I can rise from a chair without arms. I am more flexible.
Going from not being able to run one mile without stopping 2 to 3 times to run four races in 2019 & finishing all of them with a great time.
I lost a little weight at first, and certainly toned. I didn’t really see changes in my overall appearance until I changed my diet.
Before CrossFit, I was always looking for the “quick fix” to being skinny, really didn’t know much about nutrition, and had low self-esteem.
I am certain my overall strength and cardiovascular endurance are better now after age 40 than at any time in my 20s and 30s.
