Tell us about you sports & fitness background: I had participated in a few sports when I was young but I never enjoyed exercising until I started CrossFit.
How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? Take us back to your first WOD… what was it, and how did it feel? My parents have been attending for a long time and I always spent time at the gym, but I started in September of 2018 and the first WOD was very mentally challenging, but I felt amazing after.
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting CF (before/after)? Before, I was not changing my eating habits up until quarantine started in March. I feel so much healthier now, and I find it so much easier to complete WODS now.
What sort of changes in your life have you experienced out of taking on something like CrossFit that were totally unexpected? Before I started CrossFit I always thought about losing weight, but I never thought I would actually be able to.
Name one goal you have reached since joining CFK and one goal you want to achieve (example: deadlift/squat/press ___ pounds; do a pullup; do a WOD RX’d, etc.). I can do toes to bar now and I want to be abe to do them in every WOD.
Please share with us any favorite CrossFit / CFK moments. My first competition last summer was SO fun!!
Any advice for people just getting started? Just keep pushing, it’s all so worth it in the end.
What are your hobbies, interests and/or talents outside of CrossFit? I love hanging out with my friends, I love fashion, and makeup.
